Spring is right around the corner. And if you’re looking to get outside and do something fun in Redding, we’ve got just what you need.
To celebrate the launch of The Art Hunger, we bring you “Hello Redding!” a Pop-up Art Show.
Our goal is to showcase a diverse group of artists from the area, ranging from established to emerging, some of whom are exhibiting for the first time.
“Hello Redding!” will take place at the Shasta County Arts Council, Old City Hall as part of this year’s Viva Downtown’s Hops and Shops, on Saturday February 22 from 2 - 7 pm.
And if art and brews are not enough, the Sweetspot Redding will be joining us with cupcakes, and JeanBeanMedia will provide music via live performers and sweet jams.
This Pop-up art show is a group effort between The Art Hunger and everyone listed above to introduce local artists to the public and to nurture a community around the arts. And it’s the first in a series of art shows to come.
So stop by and say hello between 2 and 7 pm this Saturday, February 22. Come meet the artists and check out their work. Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. You’ll be supporting the local art community and have a good time doing it.
